How often do you make time for your health? In the Philippines, unless you start feeling sickly, then shall only be the time to see a doctor! That is not good enough! And neglect could actually put your health in bad light – sometimes for the long haul.
But there is one wearable gadget you can efficiently lean on to monitor your health when you are least looking. Offerring real time health monitoring, Huawei launched its latest smartwatch the Huawei Watch GT 2e. It is a wearble gadget supposedly for people active in sports. But the GT 2e, if you get to use watch closely with your health, can actually serve to collect vital data on your health that can be useful for anyone with a lingering ailment.
Big Tito managed to get the RED LAVA variant of the Huawei Watch GT 2e. And we started working with watch shortly after its unboxing. Compared to previous smartwatches we have tried previously, GT 2e easily links with any Android smartphone. It leans on a single application called Health App, which is inclusive for Huawei smartphones like the recently launched Huawei P40 series, you can download to any other Android smartphones.
For existing Android smartphones, Huawei Health App is free to download on the Android Play Store. It requires single phone registration, before you can link GT 2e with your smartphone. Once connected, the GT 2e fully boots with in-house face screen design. A new watch face can be added from app, including music files, which is great for people playing music with their routine workouts.
But there is a catch to downloading music. It can only be rendered via Bluetooth, which takes time transferring digital files from phone to wearable device. The GT 2e has 4GB storage capacity. It can load up to 500 music files, play connect to wearable Bluetooth speakers or wireless headsets. It is great with pill headsets for mobility while working out.
Once activated, GT 2e immediately starts charting your health. This has to be activated from app. It keeps track, first and foremost, of your heartbeat, oxygen pressure (for those who run), and body’s stress level. This is good since low oxygen levels in blood can trigger person exercising to faint. Huawei Watch GT 2e, for easy cardio exercise execution, now includes around 100 variants of programmed exercises like swimming, running, walking, skateboarding etc.
And since GT 2e charts body’s physical movements like walk phasing or running, it can even detect whether user wants to get into a routine exercise. Watch would habitually remind or suggest wearer whether you lack exercise, keeping you upbeat with all your cardio target. It is a welcome health feature for anyone medically required to follow a cardio routine exercise. And whether you are exercising or asleep, GT 2e can even actively keeps track of your well being.
Data accumulated (daily) is then auto transferred to (Health) app for graph analysis. Patients with heart rate or pressure related health issues can use this program for proper medical analysis with their physicians. It is ideal, since it tracks your health real time, for people in dire need of constant medical attention.
Sports enthusiasts can make use of watch to chart their heart beat, oxygen and stress levels. Knowing these specific datas or trackable information can help train your body to get into specific workouts to properly lose weight, gain muscular pitch that is reasonably achievable with your age. Charted data can keep track of your body’s health limitations, avoiding injuries in the long run.
Incidentally, Huawei Watch GT 2e can diagnose common sleeping issues. All you need is to wear watch while sleeping. Alarm can be set to wake you up, keep you abreast with cardio routine exercises. That is helpful for people with irregular heartbeat issues. The data collected can determine how best to get around a specific or lingering medical condition.
Interestingly, the Huawei GT 2e is deisgned powerful Kirin A processor. It is what keeps watch active for as long as 14 days (roughly two weeks). Imagine what that can do monitoring your overall health, cardio exercises. And it only takes less than two hours to achieve a full wireless charge capacity.
Style for health fashion
Huawei realizes the GT 2e is more than a smartwatch. Adopting a unibody design, Huawei Watch GT 2e’s screen is High Definition (HD) Amoled material. It is similar to the Huawei P40 series. It is a touch screen wearable gadget you can command while on the go, between routine exercises. It is waterproof by about 50-meters, making it ideal for sweaty workout, rain soaked runs and swimming.
For fashion trendy users, Huawei Watch GT 2e ships with interchangeable bracelets. It is a new design alloted with holes for wrist skin to breath. Bracelet comes in Red Lava, Green Mynt and Black variant. Designed for lengthy use, watch on skin is surprisingly not irritating when rubber strap is subjected to heat and friction. It is light, handy and screen is remarkably sensitive, visibly clear even while under sun ray’s direct streak.
What is best about GT 2e smartwatch, you can wear it while taking a bath. Watch can be cleansed easy with soap and running water on purpose. While worn, Huawei Watch GT actively scan for vital signs. A built in scanner is located underneath watch. Despite reading activity, we noticed temperature (even during active pod charging) remains cool. I can generally attest Huawei Watch GT 2e is completely safe to use for any type of weather conditions.
Watch is fitted with a barometer, compass. It is great for people on the go – for travellers who want more out of their digital multitasking wearable devices. Weather reading, by location, is accurate – keeping you abreast of things area temperature and possibly rain forecast. Feature is best delivered though with smartwatch wireless connected to your phone’s Health app.
Huawei Watch GT 2e is a user friendly digital smartwatch. It is detailed for real time multitasking. And watch is fitted with GPS, which allows you to do simple things like find lost phone, keep track of your whereabouts from live health app on your smartphone. While I prefer using a Huawei P40 device for Huawei Watch GT 2e, GT 2e works well with other Android smartphones.
Huawei Watch GT 2e is a life saving Android smartwatch. It can read vital signs not only for general physical workouts, but for medical monitoring. Reading tops with heart rate, stress level, and blood oxygen. All monitoring is rendered real time, even while you are sleeping, it will keep track of your well being. Charted vital sign reading are analyzed in detailing graphics from phone app, which regularly collects data from watch. Prolonged watch use, particularlly for those with heart or stress level health issues, provides actionable health data. The GT 2e, for lack of a better definition, is a LIFE SAVER for a digital health and sports watch retailing for only P6,990.
