TNC-Acer Predator partnership is nurturing growing esports talent pool, launching largest Acer Predator-equipped cyber café in Southeast Asia.
TNC, one of the fastest-growing cyber cafe franchising in the Philippines, and Predator, premium gaming brand catering to professional and hardcore gamers, once again seal their commitment to nurturing the growing talent pool in the Southeast Asian (SEA) region with the opening of Southeast Asia’s largest Acer Predator-equipped cyber café in Cebu.
Esports has grown exponentially in the past years rightfully earning a place in the recently concluded Southeast Asia Games as a medal sport. Along with this growth is the increasing number of individuals getting into the sport making it even more competitive than before.
With this in mind, TNC and Predator created an environment where gamers not only get to experience the most luxurious gaming set-ups, high-speed internet, and powerful Acer Predator PCs but also a community that understands and supports them.
Located at Colon, Cebu City, the three-floor Cyber Cafe houses a total of 408 Predator units, which include Orion 3000 and 5000. One hundred eight (108) units of Orion 5000 are ready for use at the VIP floor or Predator floor while the other 300 units populate the rest of the other floors.
“With the continuous support of Acer Predator, we wanted to give the best gaming experience to the Queen City of the South. We hope that with this facility, we can encourage Cebuanos to dive in more to esports and hopefully develop more world-class talents,” said Eric Redulfin, TNC’s Founder and President.
TNC, formerly TheNet.Com Internet Café, committed another three years with Acer Predator naming it as the official hardware provider for its future gaming cafes.
Like any physical sport, esports athletes need to constantly practice to elevate their skills. Tournaments have become highly competitive that private companies are throwing their support to various teams and individuals who want to compete internationally.
By having the most capable devices, gamers can get used to the pressure of playing against other highly skilled individuals. In the region, gamers have shown success and lots of potentials who can play side by side more experienced gamers.
In having this mindset, Predator and TNC are determined to work hand in hand so gamers will get the motivation to do even better than before especially when the time comes when they have to represent their own country.
At present, there are over a hundred TNC Cyber Café branches in the country equipped with Predator gaming laptops and PCs. In the next three years of the partnership, the two brands are looking at opening more venues for gamers all over the country to tap the untapped talents.
Coln and TNC Predator Team were present during the event to meet with fans at the opening of TNC Cebu Headquarters. After the opening, Predator hosted a mini-concert at Cebu Trade Hall for Coln. The band launched their featured music video for “Lakas”, a song composed for the Predator brand
